Reminder! Before July 1st, IBIS users need to install a new version of Hummingbird HostExplorer in order to have the encrypted telnet access that AIS is requiring. The entire process takes less than 10 minutes.
To download Hummingbird HostExplorer 2008 V13.0.0.209:
1. Go to: https://downloads.its.psu.edu/
2. Click: Connecting to Penn State
3. Find Hummingbird HostExplorer 2008, then click: windows
4. Click: "Version 13.0.0.209", then click: save Note: Leave unchecked the box that says “Close this dialog box when download complete.”
5. Once the file downloads, click: install
Once you have Hummingbird installed as described above, to get to IBIS….
1. Click: Start (lower left corner of screen)
2. Click: All Programs
3. Click: Hummingbird Connectivity 2008
4. Click: Host Explorer 5. Select: Secure AIS, then click: Connect
