Thanks to Helen Smith for supplying this great Tech Tip idea!
As we wend our way to year’s end, it’s a perfect time to include this tip in your list of new year resolutions: weed those “psulias” addresses from your address book! As Helen pointed out, psulias addresses often automatically pop up in the address field when you start typing. You can easily fix this problem, whether you are a Eudora or Thunderbird user.
Thunderbird: Go to Tools/Address Book. Scan the addresses for entries that include “psulias.” For each address that belongs to a person, right-click, and choose Properties. Then edit the email address to delete psulias, and click OK.
Eudora: Go to Tools/Address Book. Click on each person’s name to display the email address. When a psulias address is found, delete that phrase. Finish up by clicking File/Save.
Reminder: Note that global email addresses still include psulias, although future plans include changing them as well. For example, notice the Tech-Tip email. This tip applies only to email addresses for persons.
